Love our 'Max' thick, full-cushioned merino work socks, but wish they sat just a bit higher on your leg? Then our 'Max Plus' socks are for you.
Following feedback from emergency service workers, we've added approximately 8cm to the leg length of our traditional 'Max' socks, to create the 'Max Plus' and ensure the socks finish just above the cuff of longer length work boots.
Just like our 'Max' thick, full-cushioned merino socks, the outside of our 'Max Plus' socks is a tidy plain knit, while on the inside the threads are pulled by terry jacks during knitting to form a loop between every stitch (like the surface of a towel) giving them a springy feel and extra air pockets for insulation.
The natural insulating properties of merino wool will ensure our 'Max Plus' socks keep your feet warm in winter and cool in summer and it's moisture wicking properties will help prevent sweaty and smelly feet. Plus, the addition of nylon will ensure they last for years to come.
Like all our sock styles, they're knitted with a heel angle of about 100o keeping them well-fitted to your feet. To learn more about how our socks are made, please click here.

Our 'Max Plus' socks are suitable for work boots more than 20cm in height. If you're after a shorter length work boot sock you may wish to try our 'Max' or 'Max' Loose Top socks.

What are your ‘Max Plus’ socks made from?
Our 'Max Plus' socks are made from 75% Australian-grown merino wool (which helps with temperature regulation and moisture wicking), and 25% nylon for strength and durability.

Not at all! Merino wool is incredibly soft, making the socks perfect for all-day comfort.
Can I wear these socks year-round?

How do I wash merino socks?
We recommend a quick, cold machine wash. They should be washed separately, or in a hosiery and lingerie wash bag so they do not catch on other garments. They should then be air-dried in the shade.
