Part of our Heritage Collection, 'Max' socks are knitted in our Crookwell, NSW factory using 75% Australian-grown merino wool and 25% nylon. Their thick terry-loop cushioning, breathable merino wool and durable construction have made them a favourite with farmers, tradies and outdoor enthusiasts who need a work sock that's built to last.

'Max' is one of our thickest socks, featuring full terry-loop cushioning throughout. They're designed for warmth, comfort and durability inside work boots, hiking boots and shorter gumboots.
Are 'Max' socks suitable for steel cap work boots?
Yes. Their thick cushioning makes them an excellent choice for steel cap work boots, provided your boots fit correctly.
Can I wear them all year round?
Yes. While 'Max' is one of our warmest socks, the natural properties of merino wool help regulate temperature, making them comfortable throughout the year.
Can they go in the dryer?
No. To avoid shrinkage, we recommend a cold, gentle machine wash and line-drying away from a heat source.
Are 'Max' socks itchy?
No. Australian-grown merino wool is naturally soft and comfortable for all-day wear.
Why do you use nylon?
Nylon adds strength and durability, helping the socks withstand everyday wear while retaining the comfort and performance of merino wool.
